De Olla Café recently marked a new chapter with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Coalition for Responsible Community Development’s BusinessSource Center. Founded by Laura Santiago and her husband, the café’s journey began with a humble catering service driven by their passion for authentic Oaxacan cuisine.
The challenges of the 2020 pandemic inspired them to pursue their dream of independence and community connection, transforming their culinary aspirations into a beloved local establishment. Dedicated to quality and authenticity. Today, De Olla Café stands as a testament to heritage, hard work, and the power of community, inviting everyone to experience a culinary journey filled with tradition and heartfelt hospitality.
CRCD’s BusinessSource Centers now serve the community from two locations: the Southeast LA office at 3761 S. Hill Street, Unit 1, Los Angeles, CA 90007, and the South LA office at 5444 Crenshaw Blvd., Suite 100, Los Angeles, CA 90043. Together, these centers offer various levels of assistance to microenterprises, small businesses, and aspiring entrepreneurs across the City of Los Angeles.
